A Tradition of Care: Honoring Those Who Serve Through Santa’s Helpers

For more than 30 years, Southern Auto Group’s annual Santa’s Helpers Program has brought hope, joy, and holiday cheer to children and families in need across the region.
Each holiday season, this company-wide initiative unites Southern Auto Group dealerships in a shared mission to spread the magic of Christmas. Through generous employee contributions of time, money, and gifts, Santa’s Helpers goes beyond a traditional donation drive to create meaningful moments for families during the holidays.
This past holiday season, Southern Auto Group had the honor of partnering with Armed Services YMCA Hampton Roads (ASYMCAHR) as part of its annual Santa’s Helpers Program. ASYMCAHR is dedicated to enhancing the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body by offering programs that address the unique challenges of military life in Hampton Roads. Located in one of the nation’s largest military communities, Southern Auto Group recognizes the importance of supporting organizations that play a vital role in serving those who serve our country.

This year, our employees provided toys, electronics, and clothes to 19 children from 10 military families.
The continued success of Southern Auto Group’s Santa’s Helpers Program for more than 30 years is a testament to the generosity and compassion of its employees. Their enthusiasm and commitment year after year are what make the program so meaningful and impactful. This cherished tradition reflects Southern Auto Group’s deep-rooted belief in giving back to the communities that have supported the company for decades.
