As the holidays draw near, we find ourselves excitedly anticipating the cherished traditions that make this season special—whether it’s the twinkling of festive decorations, the familiar melodies of holiday music, or the warmth of a large family gathering around the dinner table.
Recently, Southern Team Subaru, one of our dedicated dealership partners, learned that 12 families in our community were facing the challenge of not being able to experience a traditional Thanksgiving dinner without some support. Understanding the profound importance of this festive meal, their dedicated staff eagerly volunteered to step up and assist these families by creating and distributing complete Thanksgiving dinner boxes.
Each box is thoughtfully packed with all the essential items for a full holiday feast: a perfectly sized turkey, savory stuffing, creamy butter, fluffy mashed potatoes, rich gravy, freshly baked dinner rolls, crisp green beans, comforting macaroni, sweet applesauce, and a decadent pumpkin pie. To ensure a smooth and joyful cooking process, Southern Team Subaru also included detailed cooking instructions, roasting bags, aluminum foil, and disposable pans to simplify cleanup.
This act of service is a true reflection of the Southern Values we stand for. Our hope is that, in time, these families will find themselves in a position to pay it forward and remember the kindness extended to them. We wish for them to understand the profound joy and fulfillment that comes from helping others—an act of generosity given without any expectation of receiving something in return.
